- From Eau Claire, Wisconsin take US 53 North to WI 29. Turn east on Hwy 29 to Cadott, Wisconsin. From Cadott, head north on WI 27 through Cornell. In Cornell, Hwy 27 mergest with Hwy 64. East of Cornell continue north on Hwy 27. The Happy Horse Bed and Breakfast is on the right hand side of Hwy 27 approximately 2 miles north of the junction of Hwy 27 and Hwy 64.
- From Ladysmith, Wisconsin take WI 27 south, through Lake Holcombe. The Happy Horse Bed and Breakfast is on the left hand side of Hwy 27, approximately 2 miles south of Holcombe.
- From Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota take I-94 East to Eau Claire. Then take US 53 north, and then follow the directions from Eau Claire as given above. Alternate route is to take I-94 East to Menomonie, Wisconsin. Then take WI 28 East to Cadott. At Cadott, head north on Hwy 27 as given above.
